The **B2B/B2C eCommerce Developer** **, is a hands on role** for developing and supporting various eCommerce applications at Farmer Brothers. This role demands a blend of technical prowess, strategic alignment, and the ability to drive seamless integration across varied products. A strong technical background, problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach are key for success in this role. **Qualifications** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + **Responsible for designing, implementing, delivering and support various eCommerce applications, including ordering, inventory, product catalog, customer, payment, etc.** + **Continuously investigating and implementing new technologies, improving the stability, scalability, and overall architecture of the existing systems.** + **Proactively define and maintain technical standards, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices, eliminate technical debt.** + **Strong organizational, communications and people skills a must** + **Business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis, and creative problem solving ability.** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + **Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering, or related discipline.** + **7+ years’ industry working experience in e-commerce application development, focusing on backend and middle tier.** + **Solid development experience using AWS or Azure.** + **3+ years of experience in design, develop, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs using NodeJS, Json, XML, etc.** + **Understanding of secure data transmission techniques (SSH, OAuth, HTTPS, SFTP).** + **Knowledge on software development life cycle and SQL database is required.** + **Experience working in agile delivery, Jira usage and other agile delivery best practices.** + **Experience in developing eCommerce applications, especially in Food Service and Manufacturing domain, is strongly preferred.** **PERSONAL SKILL SETS:** + **Self** **starter with team spirit in achieving results.** + **Meets deadlines, follows through on commitments and delivers on promises.** + **Strives for continuous growth and improvement.** + **Generates original, creative ideas to improve processes.** + **Ability to build effective relationships.** + **Readily and frequently collaborates with others.** + **Manages time effectively.** + **Establishes high standards of performance for self and others.** Farmer Brothers is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
