SUMMARY

The Sun & Ski Sports is seeking an experienced and driven E-commerce Hub Associate that has the passion and drive to manage and develop a winning team.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Process from dock to shipping all merchandise coming into the building from vendors accurately and promptly.Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received; to ensure that merchandise is not damaged, defective, or short.Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise to enable merchandise to be relocated to appropriate areas in the Distribution Center.Record receiving, packing, and shipping data using a handheld device.Enters PO Numbers and FB Numbers into the AS400, the check in for ASN and Non ASN shipments, makes copies and alert management of discrepancies and maintains great paperwork. Pick eCommerce orders using a paper-based pick.Process customer returns in a timely manner for their credit.Use RF scanner for "put away" of customer returns.Maintain strong communication with Distribution Center management team and eCommerce Support Team.Solve warehouse concerns/trouble shipments from vendors by working with Buying Team and Vendors for quick and accurate resolution.Personally cross-train in multiple DC/Warehouse stations to assist as needed.Research inventory discrepancies - Liaison between DC Operations and Store Ops/Accounts Payable.Correct concealed carton inventory discrepancies.Daily unloading and receipt processing, to maximize the DC productivity and in turn, the store sales.Day-to-day operations of the receiving area, including shipping and daily processing.Complete all required paperwork and logs correctly and completely.Constantly strive to improve and streamline processes.Maintain and ensure safe working environment.Identify problems and opportunities and present viable solutions.Maintain strong communication with Distribution Center management team.Loss Prevention minimize inventory loss (internal, external, and paper).Utilize manual pallet jack to move pallets into proper staging areas.

REQUIREMENTS

experience in an extremely fast paced warehouse/DC / receiving environment, while managing multiple departments with multiple direct reports.Experience working directly with corporate merchandising/Buying and retail store operation teams, as well as third party providers.Possess high level understanding of WMS, EDI, and Enterprise systems, including experience in process development, usage and trouble shooting.Skillful use of Excel, Word, MS Outlook, Freight and Parcel company programs, handheld data collection equipment.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with Vendors, Buyers, Store Team, and Upper Management.Organized leader capable of achieving efficient, effective results.Generate and analyze management reports for intra-department use.Promote team environment, maintaining high morale while achieving maximum productivity.
