Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-Commerce Marketing Manager as part of the Digital Sales team in our central marketing function to spearhead the marketing efforts for our business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce channels, including our branded online stores and B2B marketplace presences. This pivotal role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and working with our commercial teams to maximize online sales to business customers, optimize conversion rates for B2B sales cycles, and enhance the overall customer experience for business accounts within our B2B e-commerce ecosystem.

The E-Commerce Marketing Manager will work with business teams and brand marketers to launch and grow successful e-commerce properties, create strategies and standard work for the day-to-day operation and optimization of our online stores and B2B marketplace listings, ensuring brand consistency, value proposition clarity, and optimal product and solution presentation across all digital touchpoints relevant to business buyers.

Responsibilities

Optimize B2B e-commerce stores and marketplaces by managing product presentation, promotions, user experience, conversion rate optimization, listings, and advertising across all platforms. Work with business units in our organization to jump-start their own e-commerce operations, implementing marketing strategies, providing strategic guidance, training, coaching, and hands-on support. Develop and implement comprehensive B2B e-commerce marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, paid advertising, social media, and email marketing across relevant channels, in cooperation with other central marketing teams. Analyze e-commerce performance and optimize strategies using web analytics to identify trends, insights, and improve conversion and pipeline value. Manage and orchestrate product data feeds to ensure accurate product information is presented across all e-commerce channels. Stay updated on e-commerce trends and best practices, proactively recommending and implementing innovative marketing approaches.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Extensive experience the B2B e-commerce field (minimum of 5 years), successfully operating and optimizing stores & marketplaces. Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and e-commerce integration into omnichannel approaches. Hands-on experience with B2B e-commerce platforms (e.g., commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B) and relevant B2B marketplaces.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Willingness to travel about 10%-15% of the time, mostly EMEIA.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for e-commerce optimization and lead nurturing. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills for fast-paced e-commerce. Strong proficiency in web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to derive insights and optimize performance & lead generation. Deep understanding of relevant digital marketing channels: SEO/SEM, PPC, LinkedIn, industry groups, email marketing. Familiarity with PIM systems and managing product data feeds for complex B2B product configurations.
