E-Discovery Legal Initiatives Coordinator - Chevy Chase, MD (HYBRID)

Primary Position Objective:

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to serve as an eDiscovery coordinator in the Legal Department primarily to coordinate e-discovery projects from inception to completion. This position provides broad range of project support and requires excellent communication and task management skills, as well as interacting confidentially with all levels of leadership. There is also an expectation of strong technical skills.  The selected candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, strong technical and legal background preferred.

Must have extensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters, including the use of various ESI management and review tools and applications such as Relativity, Everlaw, and Microsoft Office 365.

Must have extensive knowledge and experience in evaluating and recommending advanced analytics solutions.

Must have knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, industry trends, and case law.

An individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and work collaboratively with teams across all levels.

Attention to detail and discretion are required as well as strong communication skills, good judgment and sense of urgency.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Coordinate the details of e-discovery projects from inception to completion, including data collection, analysis, processing, review, quality control, output deliverables and data management.

Manage multiple concurrent projects from transition to archival while keeping team leadership informed of status, potential project risks or pending issues.

Establish schedules and priorities; monitor and update project information, create documentation, reports, and related work throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop strategic and tactical project plans with the legal teams and participate in their execution.

Assists in day-to-day needs of the Legal Department as needed.

Location: Hybrid – This individual must be able to work onsite 3 days per week out of our Chevy Chase, MD location.

Annual Salary

$103,000.00 - $161,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
