This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Your specific duties as a E-Drive Software Engineer will include:     Compensation (Range): $43-$45 / hour Utilizing Design Thinking and User Experience methods, you will work to deliver breakthrough products and services that delight our customers. We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated candidate to work closely in developing software and processes for electric powertrain testing to support development of current and future battery electric and hybrid electric vehicles in its Electric Drive Dynamometer and Electric Drive Motor Lab. As a phenomenal teammate, you will build impact by collaborating across the Electrified Powertrain Engineering organization and with key work partners throughout the company including with the product, engineering, and technology teams.

Job Requirements
As a E-Drive Software Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. The minimum requirements we seek • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 3+ years of experience with VB.net programming • 3+ years of experience with database systems including SQL Server and MS Access • 1+ years of experience with test data post processing and simulation using numerical computational tools (e.g. Matlab) • 1+ years of experience in solutions with software and hardware integration • 1+ years of experience on source code management and release process Education Required: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
