Opportunity summary: As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for providing superior maintenance and administrative planning services to internal and external customers, especially for our maintenance technical personnel assigned to the operational areas in the mill. In this role, you will execute the critical planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting of repair activities to ensure operational effectiveness.

How you will impact WestRock
Maintain backlog of work orders and move work orders to the ready-to-schedule phase, and review technician feedback upon work completionTrack the progress of work order flow through the work order system by performing plant and/or maintenance department day‐to‐day reviewsPlan all maintenance work activities associated with maintenance work orders and record technician troubleshooting feedback in SAPConduct initial screening of incoming work orders, identify scope of the work orders, and analyze required level of planningCoordinate outage planning activities such as scope identification and control, scheduling, risk assessments, execution, and continuous improvement initiativesPartner with Validators to ensure that plans and schedules are aligned based on the available equipment to support the millIncorporate safety requirements for all work orders and jobs to support and drive safe work behaviorsOversee the end-to-end planning and execution of work orders and resolve any work order issuesMaintain real-time equipment bill of materials in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including parts that have changed and update new equipment dataComply with ISO, Safety, Environmental and other technical codes, and regulationsProvide leadership and coaching in safety, training, and work allocation to uphold the standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians
Compensation Offered
Pay (or pay range): $74,625 – $124,375 DOE (Junior, Intermediate, Senior levels)Bonus/Commission Eligible: Yearly Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP) Bonus based off metrics

The salary range for this position is $73,875.00 - $123,125.00, depending on your role, level, and location.
