The Autodesk People and Places Organization (PPL) is expanding the presence of the Learning and Development team globally. We have a new opportunity for an E-Learning Developer responsible for the end-to-end development and production of global digital and hybrid learning programs. In this critical role, you will partner with the Learning Experience Design Manager to plan program development, design, and delivery. Working with other Learning and Development team members and skilled external vendors, you will produce, customize, and improve enterprise learning solutions across different roles and geographies.
This role is instrumental in developing scalable learning solutions crucial for the growth and success of our workforce in acquiring critical skills and leadership competencies. Responsibilities
Design and develop learning programs that align with the organization's objectives and the identified critical skills and competencies
Identify and document the target audience's training needs through interviews, surveys, and consultation with managers
Produce engaging learning content incorporating multimedia technology, adult learning methodologies, and gamification
Develop assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Build curricula maps and curate role- and skill-based learning content
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the relevance of training materials; prototype and test learning solutions
Keep up-to-date with the latest instructional technologies, trends and methodologies and implement them into routine workflows
Maintain a project management approach to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Serve as a representative of the global Learning and Development team in the region by consulting the local HR and business representatives and driving engagement with the programs
Support regular reporting of usage, completion, satisfaction, and other critical learning and content metrics in the assigned region.
Serve as a facilitator in virtual and in-person workshops, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience creating innovative learning solutions in a corporate environment, preferably at a global technology company
Proven working experience in instructional design and instructional technology. A portfolio or examples of completed projects is a plus
Deep expertise in instructional design and learning technology
Solid knowledge of course development software such as Articulate and at least one Learning Management System
Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure project completion
Video recording and editing skills with Premier, Camtasia, or similar tools
Ability to write compelling copy, instructional text, and audio scripts/video scripts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, using various asynchronous collaboration tools
Ability to build relationships with and manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization
Excellent organizational and administrative skills; strong attention to detail
Highly self-driven and motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Broad experience working with diverse teams in a global virtual environment
