The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team provides Demand and Supply Planning tools and processes. Provides leadership in developing an executable build plan that balances cost and product availability. Provides Industry and manufacturing support to drive forecast accuracy improvements and modeling of supplier constraints to support build plans. The Team works in collaboration with many areas within Caterpillar optimizing processes to support our Dealers and Customers. **What you will do:** Support Energy & Transportation Facilities and Industries as a business partner through-out the S&OP process to optimize the forecast and facility production. Examples but not limited to: + Provide business tools to create request for product (RFP) + Support long term forecast planning + Support Network Planning and Execution of the supply + Provide excellent customer service to our Industries to assist running their business. **What skills you will need:** + **Financial Forecasting and Modeling:** Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results. + **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. + **Consulting:** Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately. + **Analytical Approach:** Understanding of the value of accurately analyzing the current environment and ability to synthesize ideas and information required for process improvement into a manageable form. + **Influencing:** Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. **Top Candidates Will Have:** + 10 - 15 years of Supply Chain/Commercial experience. + S&OP and data analytics experience. **Additional Information** : + The position will be located in Mossville, IL + Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify + Sponsorship is **not** available **Summary Pay Range:** $156,000.00 - $234,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
