Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. **Your Impact** + Perform engineering investigations and design support tasks under the direction of senior engineering professionals + Perform laboratory and field tests according to prescribed procedures, processes, and standards + Collect soil samples, prepare samples for testing, record data, and prepare summary reports + Observe and document routine construction operations and write routine field reports + Assist and observe contractor work on construction projects and interact with client, contractor or subcontractor representatives accordingly + Perform a variety of non-technical tasks designed to assist others in preparing for and/or conducting office, laboratory or field activities **Who You Are** **Required Qualifications** + Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. + 0-1 years of relevant work experience. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with excellent analytical abilities, leadership ability, and a positive attitude + Ability to work both independently and within groups + Competence in the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is necessary + Familiarity with discipline-specific design software - AutoCAD, GINT, Slide, etc. + FE/EIT (or ability to obtain EIT within 1 year) required + Valid driver’s license **Preferred Qualifications:** + Engineer in Training Certification + Some prior experience in field and laboratory testing, geotechnical drilling, or construction inspection. + Knowledge of construction methods and practices. \#LI-AB2 **About WSP** WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
