As part of the Aerostructure Product Center, we are dedicated to advancing the production and performance of Blackhawk derivative airframes and components. Our Industrial Engineering team plays a vital role in driving efficiency and excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

THE WORK

In this role, you'll be part of our Industrial Engineering team, providing essential support by conducting methods analysis, labor performance evaluations, and cost estimates. You’ll also dive into man-loading and capacity analyses, assess workflows, and conduct make-versus-buy studies to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, you will develop and leverage daily and weekly reports to monitor manufacturing labor cost metrics, helping to address cost, schedule, and production challenges.

You’ll work with a variety of tools like Tableau, Microsoft Office, and other data analysis software to turn data into actionable insights. Collaborating closely with Operations Leadership, you’ll guide the implementation of new technologies and methodologies, optimize production layouts, and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.

You’re an analytical problem solver with a strong foundation in industrial engineering, data analysis, and process optimization. You are skilled in using software tools like Tableau and Microsoft Office, and you have experience in methods analysis, labor performance, and cost evaluation. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
-Experience in Manufacturing/Union environment with shop floor experience
-Experience with Analytical and Project Planning Tools including MS Office suite of tools. Tableau (SQL equivalent)
Desired Skills:
- SAP software experience a plus.
-Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
-Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
-Greenbelt Certified a plus – experience leading process improvement activities
-Earned Value Management (EVM), an understanding of Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI) a plus
-Previous Sikorsky Operations experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
