What does the Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) team do? 

Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) is one of the world’s largest insurance brokers and risk advisory firms, offering a comprehensive collection of services to a diverse client base - from small businesses to multinational corporations. In this role, you will have opportunities across all areas of Corporate Risk and Broking. We serve a diverse range of client sectors such as Property, Casualty, Construction, Marine and Financial, Professional and Executive Risks.

 

The Role

You will develop technical understanding and knowledge through hands on experience, gaining exposure to our clients through meaningful work assignments and projects. The aspects you may experience include:

Broking - As the intermediary in the insurance transaction, the role of a broker is multi-faceted with the dual responsibility of ensuring the client’s needs are satisfied, whilst also building strong relationships with the markets that you use to place your client’s risks. Client Servicing - As the first point of contact for your clients in all aspects of their insurance program, any claims, wording, coverage or industry news related queries are directed to you, so these are made a priority every day Business Development - Within business development, days are spent undertaking a variety of tasks to support and track the development of new business.

More specifically, you will: 

Be keen to learn to become a competent professional insurance broker Support Account Directors to deliver timely, consistent and professional insurance brokerage & consultancy service to WTW CRB clients  Provide timely responses to inquiries from clients & insurers  Assist in defining administration standards and processes to be followed to ensure quality in undertaking tasks and producing deliverables. Assist business development and marketing support activities  Proactively manage your workload to meet deadlines and ensure the highest standards of accuracy Work effectively within the team dynamic Be able to recognize and communicate potential issues to teammates; and suggest viable solutions for improvement.

 

In return, you will receive intensive on -the job training by team leaders during the first 12 months.

Stage 3: Interviews – this is an opportunity for you to meet with members of the team and for the team to understand your strengths, preferences and motivations. The interview will take place virtually, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions.
