Our Early Careers Recruiting & Experience Manager must bring extensive Campus Recruiting expertise that has focused on attracting, hiring, in order to develop the emerging talent to become the next generation of experts and leaders within M.C. Dean. We are seeking an Early Careers Recruiting & Experience Manager (ECR&E), a.k.a. Campus Recruiting Manager, to serve as an integral member of our function and deliver on key responsibilities that enable success in our efforts. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing holistic Campus Recruiting programs centered around recruiting, onboarding, mentorship, skill-building, networking, and career mapping for our new hires from college. More importantly, expertise in retention initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Build and deliver on function strategy to enhance employee engagement and cultural alignment across internship and full-time early career roles Analyze attrition and retention data for the entire company and implement plans and procedures to mitigate attrition and increase retention - those that are aligned with industry best practices. Manage a high performing team of campus recruiting specialists to hire and support early career associates through their first three years of employment Oversee team development and career growth aligned with business objectives Own executive collaboration, presentations, and key performance indicators for routine updates on function performance Evaluate and iterate on function deliverables in conjunction with business stakeholders Lead the creation of refreshed employee onboarding and ramp-up periods that enable a warm company introduction for new employees Lead the creation of early career associate development roadmaps for growth while proactively identifying experience risks to mitigate potential attrition Develop engagement opportunities for deeper employee connections within a distributed work environment Engage and influence cross-functional executive and business stakeholders for successful adoption of new programs and initiatives Consult and problem solve across the Early Career Recruiting and Experience team with the mindset of continuous improvement As a "working manager" and requires significant hands-on recruitment that coordinates manpower requirements with the Strategic Business Units (SBU) and Service Centers (SCs) on a regular basis to ensure responsiveness to organization needs. Plans, organizes, directs and controls policies and programs encompassing employment and staffing function. Plans advertising particularly social media, in cooperation with Marketing & Communications Directs management of recruiting resources to insure a timely/quality response to internal customer needs, and ability of unit to support managers recruitment needs (this can include the reallocating of recruitment staff to support surges in staffing). Has budget responsibility for the department in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Allocating resources according to where requirements surge and drop. Evaluates and determines changes in methods or procedures for respective strategic business units. Conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff Coaches recruiters to work with individual hiring managers to define recruitment needs in the context of proposal staffing plans; develop clear job descriptions and recruitment plans; solicit resumes and other required candidate information, negotiate offers; handle incumbent capture efforts and keep hiring managers and applicants informed in a timely manner. Coordinates with HR Operations to ensure the onboarding process provides a positive and smooth transition for all new employees by working with HR Ops to tailor the experience as required. If applicable, work with all hiring managers to ensure that in advance of the candidates start date the right assets are ordered (eg laptop, iPad, vehicle, etc.) as well as clearance applications. Travel as needed, up to 25% to support hiring events, employee initiatives, or other needs as requestedRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent within HR or a related field Master’s degree in HR preferred Minimum of 8+ years working within early career/university recruitment, employee experience, or similar roles that includes, 3+ years of experience as an ECR&C/Campus Recruiting Manager. Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management (CRMs), internet, HRIS system, MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Extensive measurable and verifiable experience of analyzing attrition and retention data for the entire company and implement plans and procedures to mitigate attrition and increase retention - those that are aligned with industry best practices. Exceptional experience in creating reporting and analytics products that are Excel and PowerBI based. Experience with Taleo, iCIMS, or a significant Applicant Tracking System is required. Extensive experience with job boards and tools (handshake, ripplematch, and others). Must have a strong understanding of compensation and benefits and developing the employee value proposition. Should have a strong understanding of U.S. federal and various state regulations (OFCCP, EEOC, and FLSA) compliant staffing procedures. He/she must be results-oriented, customer-service focused and possess strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills. Experience owning and scaling early career programs, formerly known as college recruiting Experience in developing workplace culture across distributed job sites Must be able to engage in grassroots college recruiting sprints along with developing big-picture early career strategy Oversee college volunteer population supporting on-campus engagement efforts Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence executive audiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to operate in an agile environment and quickly pivot should priorities changeDesired:
