Early Childhood Quality Assurance Specialist- Child Care II
**Job Summary:** As the Early Childhood Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring internal compliance with new and existing processes and regulations; implement quality management actions and tools and contribute to the development of best practice procedures within child care services at Durant Child Care Facility II. You will report to the Program Director. Monday- Friday, variable day shift between the hours of 6:30am- 5:30pm. **Primary Tasks:** 1. Support compliance with current regulations (i.e. Department of Human Services, National Early Childhood Program Accreditation, Oklahoma Academic Standards). 2. Assist with ensuring all operational processes promote the health and safety of children and staff through on-going video surveillance monitoring and review. 3. Develop internal tools and conduct classroom visits to ensure a continuum of quality. 4. Assist with developing data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans to ensure quality child care services. 5. Collaborate with leadership personnel to resolve concerns and challenges related to the delivery of quality child care services 6. Routinely complete CLASS observations (Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K) virtually and on-site. 7. Document quality assurance activities and create database reports as required for analysis to reflect a continuum of oversight for the Durant II Child Care facility. 8. As warranted create training materials, train staff, and ensure that center staff understand expected practices. 9. Provide effective feedback to teaching staff that includes improvement strategies that ensure quality classroom environments. 10. You will perform other duties as may be assigned. **Required Education and Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of education Be able to attain Infant, Toddler, and Preschool CLASS certification within the first 90 days of employment. Knowledge, education, and experience regarding developmentally appropriate teacher-child/classroom practices. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and ability to use other programs as needed. Ability to collaborate and train personnel.
