RequirementsYou Might Be the Perfect Fit if You:
Hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent, are able to pass a background check, and possess a secondary degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA credential. Training or coursework in infant and toddler development is essential, and previous experience in a licensed center is a big plus! Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances. Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities
Your Role as an Early Head Start Teacher:
We are looking for enthusiastic educators like YOU, committed to excellence in early childhood education and dedicated to creating a supportive environment that aligns with Head Start Performance Standards. Your role will be critical in maintaining a safe, clean learning environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of children in your care. You'll build caring, professional relationships with families, fostering a climate of mutual trust and respect. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children aged zero to three, adhering to a provided curriculum and achieving Head Start's mandated outcomes. Collaborating effectively with center staff, volunteers, parents, and program specialists, you will co-create and execute classroom activities. Your focus will be on engaging children in literacy, language, math, and more, contributing to a nurturing and enriching educational experience.
