Join us today, and experience a career well lived. **Early Intervention Specialist - Therapeutic** **HOURLY PAY: $20.20-22.84/hour plus mileage reimbursement** **Positions start as** **part-time hours** **(about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours - depending on availability and caseload in the area** **Coverage area includes:** **Trona** **Ridgecrest** ***And surrounding areas** Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-school early intervention specialized services for children ages 4-21 years. + Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational services for a caseload of children/adolescents with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. + Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines. + Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices. + Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents/guardians with written weekly activities and effective coaching. + Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and school team. **_This is a great position to start or advance in a therapeutic services career. We want to see our employees succeed!_** **_Qualifications:_** + High School diploma required - Bachelor’s Degree or some college in Early Childhood education or Human Development is **highly desired** (Candidates with Bachelor's degrees will be able to gain more hours) + One year experience working with infants/toddlers/school-age children or youth and their parents/guardians _preferred_ + Valid CA driver’s license in good standing; also must have been licensed driver for at least one year (in any US state) + Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines + Effective communication skills to manage relationships a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do. + Availability during typical school-time days and hours (Mon-Fri during the day time) + Must be able to pass state and federal background checks (including criminal history, DMV driver history, physical, and TB test) **_Why Join Us?_** + Part-time (about 20-25 hrs/week average) to start - can build up caseload to full time + Full compensation/benefits package for employees working 32+ hours/week including: health benefits, 401(k) with company match, and Paid time off and holiday pay + On-Demand pay for all employees - get paid as you go if you want!
