JOB SUMMARY
A Manager of the Early Learning Center is responsible for assisting the Program Director in all operations of the Child Care Dept, including all areas of human resource management, fiscal management, early care and education curriculum, and compliance with all applicable regulations. 

This position is responsible for the activities and work efforts of employees assigned to a specific shift or operation. A Manager may be expected to occasionally function as staff. Manages activities consistent with department goals. Typically reports to a Director. Acts as an active advocate of Blessing Health in the community. Provides direction and development of subordinate employees to ensure best practice and quality outcomes for customers. 

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:

Early Childhood Education and experience that meets current IL DCFS requirements Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Administration of Early Education programs within 3 years of hire. 

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
