We are currently seeking an Earthwork Estimator for a heavy commercial excavating companyThis company works on earthwork, site utilities, demolition, and environmental remediation projectsThey work on a variety of project types ranging from multifamily, residential developments, commercial, office buildings, etc.Estimators split their time between the office and field - about 80% office & 20% project sitesCandidates should have experience with Bid2Win or HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and AgtekThis company was established in 1953 Based out of Commerce City, CO

Responsibilities:

Responsible for estimating a wide range of projects from $50,000 to $5,000,000Ensure that bids are completed timely, accurately and in a manner to win the projectDownload and catalog bid documentsAttend pre-bid meetings and site investigationsDemonstrate resourcefulness and creativity to gain the best pricingReview and understand bid scope and requirements thoroughlyReviewing plans, specifications and soils reportsQuality takeoffs utilizing BluebeamCompleting bids utilizing Bid2Win softwareProduction reviews with Chief Estimator and Director of OperationsConsistently follow up on submitted bidsUpon award actively contribute in project pre-planningAttend industry and customer marketing events

Qualifications:

2+ years of earthwork estimating experienceExperience with Bid2Win or HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Agtek

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00
