The Opportunity
Reporting to the East Asia Finance Leader, the role will have direct oversight of corporate financial planning and analysis, including longer term strategic and profitability planning. This role will work also closely with the Region Chair, Geography Finance Business Partners, and other members of the leadership team to build and/or improve upon operational and financial data capabilities, applicable key performance metrics for revenues and operations, and overall region financial performance. The candidate should have the ability to analyze the key drivers of the business model, including the economics of new and existing market expansion and develop a suite of analytical reports that assist the executive team in gaining business model insights, and driving performance and efficiency within the business. The role will also have overall responsibility for operating plan process.
You will be a member of the Regional FP&A team and a member of the Global Finance Community, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure best practice and deliver expertise in a cross-section of financial activities.

Is this role right for you?
· Lead the financial business planning cycle and forecasting process with the geography business partners developing a business plan that reflects challenging but realistic forecasts, aligning to the firm’s strategic aims and ambitions.
· Analyze and review the financial results and performance to present executive reports and insightful commentary used to support decision making and a thorough understanding of operations performance and trends.
· Develop action plans with the Finance leadership team on monthly and quarterly results where results are not in line with expectation, presenting clear and concise options including risks and opportunity reporting.
· Oversee month end close preparation and results
· Develop and maintain on demand automated reporting for the business
· Oversee preparation and analyze region overhead budgets collaborating with business service partners
· Provide FP&A support to regional Market and Service portfolio leaders
· Manage the analysis of industry and economic trends to identify and make recommendations on opportunities. This will include benchmarking against external parties eg market competitors
· Oversee the data analytics team to provide insight and predictive forecast around various parts of the operations.
· Perform scenario analysis on behalf of the Board and provide ad hoc financial analysis.
· Leading and motivating an expert team, setting clear objectives and measures of success/recognition for the team members.
· Identifying development needs with team and setting training plans to further develop individuals within the team.
Desirable Skills
· Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time.
· Confident, capable, and credible with effective communication, influencing and persuasiveness skills dealing with both peers and senior colleagues.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
· Advanced Excel and working knowledge of relational database information systems.
· Someone who likes to get out from behind the desk and get involved in the business.
· Strategic thinker with exceptional problems solving skills.
· Strong business and commercial acumen, demonstratable project and budgetary management and an understanding of external factors and market.
· An ability to build, maintain and manage strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding internal and external challenges.
Desirable Experience
· Extensive experience in a relevant finance role at leadership level
· Proven experience of leading and inspiring teams in a people and service focused organization, driving a performance culture and high performing team ethos, with experience in setting short/medium and long-term plans.
· Proven ability to produce insightful and accurate information in a timely and responsive manner.
· Experience working with multiple complex finance systems and data flows.
· Proven experience in managing and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders at leadership level.
· Demonstrable experienced in identification and management of risks and issues.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting
· Professional qualification (CPA or equivalent) or advance degree in Business, Finance or Data Analytics
