As a Lifestyles Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in creating an atmosphere of joy and connection by:

Planning and Leading Activities: Assist in coordinating and delivering a variety of programs, including arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, music therapy, social events, and outings tailored to residents’ preferences and abilities. Engaging Residents: Build meaningful relationships and encourage participation by fostering an inclusive, fun, and compassionate environment. Supporting Memory Care Programs: Work closely with our memory care team to implement activities designed to stimulate and engage residents living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Creating Moments of Joy: Help celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special milestones with creativity and enthusiasm. Team Collaboration: Partner with the Lifestyles Director and other staff to brainstorm fresh ideas and maintain a vibrant calendar of events.  May also support the team in assisted or independent living programs. Maintaining Materials: Organize and care for supplies and equipment, ensuring a clean and welcoming activity space.


What you need to succeed!


The ideal candidate will bring:


A high school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in recreation, gerontology, or related fields is a plus). Experience in activities coordination, senior care, or hospitality (preferred but not required). Creativity, flexibility, and a genuine passion for enriching the lives of others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.  Able to learn how to hook up microphones or a computer to AV for programs. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Reader.
