We are hiring for our next  caring, fun and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team! This role is a valued part of our team, providing our residents with treatment and therapy plans designed to help them succeed! Our Physical Therapist Assistants:


Assist PT's in evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing a treatment and discharge plan based upon results and modifying it as necessary to meet resident/patient goals
Participate in program development in-services and staff meetings Promote a safe and secure environment for both team members and patients Actively support the treatment team, department and rehabilitation goals and objectives
Assist in care planning processes; primarily working with outpatient orthopedic clients Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility

What you need to succeed:


Current Physical Therapist Assistant License or certification on the NE Registry One year in long-term care or acute care setting preferred Strong knowledge of relevant rehabilitation therapy techniques and procedures in respective discipline Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Reader An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can-do attitude Convey the appropriate information needed to identify individuals’ requirements relative to their condition and age-specific needs A caring, passionate personality and ability to develop and maintain meaningful, positive relationships with residents, patients, families, physicians and team members
