Job Description:Job Summary:
We are growing! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EB-5 Fund Accountant to manage all aspects of our EB-5 fund administration operations. The EB-5 Fund Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our EB-5 funds by performing accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting audits. This position plays a key role in tracking investor contributions, fund disbursements, and project performance, as well as ensuring compliance with USCIS requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records for EB-5 investment funds, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fund disbursements.
Manage investor capital contributions and distributions, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of annual audited financials.
Ensure compliance with the USCIS and SEC regulations governing EB-5 funds.
Coordinate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to address any accounting issues related to EB-5 investment projects.
Monitor project expenses, cash flows, and financial performance, providing regular updates to management.
Reconcile bank accounts, monitor fund balances, and ensure appropriate internal controls.
Respond to investor inquiries regarding financial statements, investment status, and fund performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in fund accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program and related USCIS regulations.
High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Investran fund administration software and financial reporting tools.
CPA certification or progress towards certification.
Experience with fund accounting in real estate or development projects.
Familiarity with SEC regulations for investment funds.
Experience with compliance for investment funds.

For California, Colorado, New York, Virginia (DC Office) and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $65,560 to $142,080. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
