The Role
As an EC&I Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide support to EDF to enhance lifetime of power station and represent Cavendish Nuclear.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide technical fault finding and reporting, work pack specification, oversight of maintenance activities. Role is part of Cavendish Nuclear site team at Hartlepool Power Station working for the Site Manager albeit embedded within the client organisation where the individual will report day to day to the client.
Uses the Management of Operations and Management of Maintenance as the basis for day to day working practices. Responsible for applying high standards for Fuel Route work preparation & execution. Supports the Investment Delivery Process gated approach to asset management. Demonstrates a working knowledge of his/her area of responsibility. Assists in preparing and executing Fuel Route work. Follows Fuel Route Department safety policies, Management of Operations and Management of Maintenance related procedures. Ensure that all activities are undertaken with full regard to site licence requirements, statutory regulations, company and local directives, procedures, and Safety Rules. Ensuring that Operational Experience is used where appropriate.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Hartlepool Power Station.
Essential experience of the EC&I Engineer
Technical fault finding. Procedure/task instruction creation. Safe systems of work. Compliance within regulated industry.
Qualifications for the EC&I Engineer
Security Clearance
