If so, then this is the job for you!  The Global Technical Solutions (GTS) organization brings employees together across Collins that work on Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD), Mechanical Computer-Aided Design (MCAD), Technical Publications and services supporting the authoring of technical documentation.   This ECAD Manager will lead a team of technical designers and support the development of highly complex printed circuit board assemblies for use in extremely reliable aviation and communication equipment.  This individual will be responsible for the successful leadership of design support personnel and for ensuring the successful implementation of design processes and standards. The ECAD Manager will work in close collaboration with Electrical Engineering, Product Development Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Configuration Management and other enterprise organizations to deliver optimal design solutions and will assist in the enhancement of streamlined product development processes. This position is hybrid and will have cognizance over ECAD designers & drafters primarily based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
