Echo Cardiogram Technician - Cardiology - Per Diem 8 Hour Variable Shifts

Under general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Echocardiogram Technologist is responsible and accountable for performing Cardiac Ultrasound procedures: Transthoracic echocardiograms (including neonatal exam), Stress Echocardiograms (Treadmill and Dobutamine), assisting in Transesophageal Echocardiograms; as ordered by physician, according to established standards and protocols. Performs a variety of other cardiac tests including EKG, Treadmill and pharmacological Stress Tests.


Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent education Minimum Experience/Knowledge: Minimal 2 years of Cardiac Ultrasound experience in a hospital setting. Required License/Certification: ARDMS/CCI certification required. Current BLS certificate.
