Responsibilities

Echo Tech Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasounds on both adult and pediatric patients utilizing 2D/3D echocardiography, m-mode, color flow/doppler mapping, stress echocardiography, UEA imaging, Global Strain Analysis, TEE and structural heart assist when appropriate.  Will be responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data and recognizing life-threatening findings and reporting, in a timely manner, to the appropriate reading physicians. On a rotating basis, is responsible for all on-call duties. For our Hoke campus (no on-call duties), you must have at least 1 year of experience.All functions of this role shall be performed within the guidelines of department, ICAEL and hospital policies. 

Qualifications

Echo Tech Qualifications:

Associate degree or Higher level  BLS certification required Formal Training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound required Registered Diagnostic Cardiac SonographerRDCS (OR) Registered Cardiac Sonographer RCS required
