Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging of patients' hearts to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct approximately 140 echocardiographic exams per month, ensuring accurate and detailed imaging.Collaborate with physicians to interpret ultrasound results and provide critical information for patient diagnosis and treatment plans.Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and compliance.Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging procedures.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in ultrasound imaging, specifically echocardiography.Knowledge of radiology and X-ray procedures.Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Program and/or certification by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARDMS, or equivalent registration or eligibility.Full state of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire. Must maintain licensure and national certification.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $114400.00/yr.
