**Overview** As our **Echo Technologist II** at St. Joseph Health, you will help the Cardiologist in utilizing extensive knowledge of imaging techniques to successfully diagnose and treat the patient's condition, ensuring optimal care and outcomes. If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us. **Responsibilities** + Provides a preliminary diagnostic report to physician and final preliminary tracing interpretation + Operate echocardiography equipment to obtain and record two-dimensional and M-mode graphic representations of the heart + Effectively communicated with all staff members and Cardiologist + Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures to include taking vital signs and measurements, positioning patients and explaining procedure **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience** + Education: completion of Sonography Program + Experience: 2 years echo experience **Required Licensure and Certifications** + Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) + or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer + or Registered Vascular Sonographer. \#LI-CHI \#missioncritical \#ImagingTexas **Pay Range** $26.38 - $38.26 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
