Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Echo Vascular Tech to join the team. This role will be a Full-Time Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday.

Echo Vascular Tech Job Responsibilities:

Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers and coworkers, as appropriate, about changes in patients' clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram or vascular studies. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs and central line usage as they pertain to diagnostic medical sonography. Maintains the echocardiogram/vascular laboratory quality assurance database. 

Echo Vascular Tech Additional Requirements:

Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday  Education: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program, successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound program and graduation within 6 months or five years of directly relevant on the job training. License: None Certification: American Board of Radiology - Diagnostic Medical Physics, must have ARDMS with RVT; CCI with the RVS Certification for Vascular; or Registry eligible. If not Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) upon start, must be eligible upon start to complete certification within 2 years of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start Experience:  Two years of experience in an Echo/Vascular Laboratory.
