Job Overview:

Echocardiographers perform echocardiograms daily on inpatients and out for all age groups.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalentDiploma from accredited echocardiography program

Preferred:

At least one year of relevant work experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Registered Echocardiography Technician with RDCS or CCI

Scheduling Requirements:

Available to work at least 2 weekend shifts a month Shift working, ranges 6:30am-7:00pm depending on the need

Example of weekday shifts: 7am-3:30 pm; 7:30am-4pm; 10:30am-7:00pm

Example of weekend shifts: 6:30am-3pm; 7am-3:30pm

Monday-SundayPer Diem (PD)

Essential Functions:

Schedule inpatient echo around outpatient appointmentsSchedule in-patients with transport teamAssist Cardiologist when performing TEE procedures
