Job Overview:
As an Echocardiographer, you will perform echocardiograms daily on inpatients and out all age groups, schedule inpatient echo around outpatient appointments. schedule in-patients with transport team, and assist the Cardiologist when performing TEE procedures.

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalentDiploma from an accredited echocardiography program1-2 years of applicable work experienceCertifications and Licenses Required:
Registered Echocardiogram Technician BLS through the American Heart AssociationScheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 8:00am 4:00pm, 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7amWeekdays, weekends and/or some holiday coverage Per DiemEssential Functions:
Schedules inpatient echo around outpatient appointmentsSchedules in-patients with transport teamPerform echo on all age groups: - Neonatal/Infants, Pediatrics, Adults/GeriatricsPerform portable echo when necessaryNotify appropriate physician when patient scanning shows pericardial effusion with tamponade or thrombusSchedule TEE appointments with physicians and other departments involvedAssist Cardiologist when performing TEE proceduresSet up necessary files for reading physicianOrder supplies and linen for department as neededCompiles files for archiving as neededParticipate in departmental quality improvement projectsBenefits and Perks:
