Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking an Echocardiographer/Vascular Technologist to join our team!
The Echocardiographer/Peripheral Vascular Technologist provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to patients of all ages, and understands the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development, and intellectual/language development.
Performing echocardiogram tests to obtain important data about patientsLooking at blood flow, valve function, and chamber size to determine the overall condition of the heartAssisting physicians in the diagnosis of patients with heart conditionsAccurately recording patient data and test resultsHelping with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments or cleaning equipmentHours: 80 hours every two weeks working days, Monday-Friday
Experience/Qualifications
An Associate Degree or bachelor’s degree in an allied health field Knowledge of routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents.ECG interpretive skills (identification and differentiation of arrhythmia).Echocardiographer Tech registry (RDCS or RCS) or Vascular Tech registry (RVT or RVS)or registry eligible within 18 months of hire.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hirePossesses and maintains a valid driver’s license required.Maintains number of Continuing Education Credits necessary to keep credentials (30 every 3 years).Completion of Basic ECG class and passes with 80% or higher within one year of hire, or tests out of class.Employee Benefits
