Responsibilities:

Complete understanding of echo equipment including safety regulations and malfunctions.Secures order for test and identifies proper patient.Obtains patient history and indicationsExplains procedure to patientAccurately enters dataPerforms echocardiography to include M-mode, 2-D, Doppler as indicatedAssists MD and other staff with TEES, Stress echo, Pharmacology studiesObtains proper views as indicatedAccurately measures and calculates all dataPrepares concise summary of study for interpreting cardiologistReports significant findingsEnsures transmission of dataAnswers questions within scope of responsibility for patient, staff and others.

What you will need:

Associates Degree2 –3 years hospital or office based ultrasonography

Registration with either the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.

Per Diem Flat Rate: $42.00

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
