Responsible for overall management of the store, staff, merchandise and customer service and reporting directly to Store Manager. The Supervisor is also responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandizing standards and goals, building highly motivated teams and developing associates to the next level.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sales Generation
Meet sales goalsAnalyze available sales reports and data to determine the needs of the business and set business strategiesSet individual sales goals for sales associates, ensuring goals reflect store business goalsContinuously motivate sales staff to meet assigned sales and productivity goalsSupport the development of associates’ sales techniques, ensuring utilization ofelevated levels of sales and service to maximize salesDemonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise; ensure selling staff is fluent in all aspects of product knowledgeDemonstrate sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floorCollaborate with Supervisor and Marketing to identify marketing opportunities to support salesDevelop events/incentives that will continue to grow customer base, with particular emphasis on building local marketCustomer Service
Ensure all associates provide the highest level of customer serviceEnsure staff maintains constant client communication through utilizing their client booksManage client database and utilize information to increase sales and client contactResolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectivelyAssist sales associates with various customer service issues i.e. dissatisfied customers, returns, defective merchandise.Manage all special events inclusive of collection previews, client events, sale events and center events, etc.Empower associates to make decisions in the customer’s best interest that also support the Company’s philosophyOperations
Ensure facility maintenance, presentation and organizationEnsure cash control procedures are properly followed including: bank deposits, safe funds and petty cashControl store expenses and maintain budgets, continually striving to reduce costsSchedule associates to maintain adequate floor coverage while maintaining payroll budgetsEnsure deliveries are properly processed in a timely mannerMonitor the movement of all inventory and ensure that staff adheres to all Shipping/Receiving policies and proceduresMeet inventory accuracy and shrink requirementsEnsure staff is trained in all areas of appropriate register usage and maintenanceUnderstand and properly execute all management register functionsSupport, promote and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, inter-store communicationBuild and maintain good communication with members of corporate office, regional office, mall office and other storesExhibit proficiency in computer programs used by the Company including: Word, ExcelVisual Merchandising
Implement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategiesPartner with logistics, product teams and supervisor to ensure appropriate assortment for the storeEnsure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all timesEnsure presentation of all displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visual directionIdentify and communicate product concerns in a timely mannerCommunicate inventory needs to support the business goalHuman Resources
Recruit, train, and develop staff ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified personnelSupport, implement and provide follow-up for all training programs, seminars, etc.Continually evaluate the performance of each associate and provide constant feedback to ensure resultsResolve all human resources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when necessaryEnsure integrity of payroll and the payroll processEnsure image and grooming standards are professional, reflective of the brand image and adhered to at all timesJob Requirements:
Minimum 5-10 years retail experience with management or multi managementAble to drive business and ensure the store goals are metProven track record to increase overall business performanceAble to work as a leader, to drive and motivate people and willingness to develop talentExcellent personal organizational skills with attention of detail and accuracyAble to work under pressure and to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environmentAble to work on different tasks easily – Multi-taskingClientelling actions in place is a mustFluent English is mandatoryCandidates who do not meet the requirements should abstain
