Verdantas is seeking an Ecological Field Technician for a Temporary Part-time position. This position will be located at our Tampa Florida office.
Responsibilities: Wetland vegetation monitoring Wetland delineation Gopher tortoise and other listed species surveys Gopher tortoise relocation
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Marine Science-Biology or Environmental Science preferred 0-2 years of experience with collecting soil, groundwater, concrete, or sediment samples Capable of working Primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment Must have a personal vehicle to travel to work sites Must possess a valid driver’s license Must be able to travel for extended periods, on occasions Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
