Job Overview: 

As a direct report to the Marketplace Senior Manager responsible for operations and technology, the eComm Marketplace Analyst will be responsible for managing the product catalog to ensure products are properly listed to Amazon and other marketplaces, assist in enriching product content to drive profitable sales via search/conversion optimization, maintaining optimal performance metrics, and completing assigned projects/tasks to support the business.

 Responsibilities

Address SKU-level listing errors to ensure our large catalog of products are listed for sale on Amazon Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics, Fulfillment, and third-party vendors to address a range of order-level or SKU-level issues Enrich product content my mapping and standardizing key item data to align to Amazon’s attribute standards, as this will aid in product discovery and conversion Provide daily reporting and process / performance feedback on several mission-critical metrics Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) / super-user of our multi-channel listing tool and help support other team members with your knowledge of the tool Other projects and tasks assigned by manager

Essential Competencies:

You are passionate about learning ecommerce and developing subject matter expertise in managing marketplaces (e.g.: Amazon, eBay, Walmart). You already possess exceptional communication and execution skills. You are analytical with a natural curiosity to test, measure, and iterate in order to drive results. You are organized with strong project management skills and can operate with a high level of autonomy. You understand Microsoft Excel formulas and have an interest / passion in learning how to use formulas, macros, functions, etc. to help automate your work.

Strong attention to detail Highly analytical with a passion for problem solving and the innate persistence to stick with tough problems Technically proficient in Excel, especially as it relates to the use of formulas for analysis and data manipulation Systems thinking, being capable of understanding how systems interact with each other through end-to-end processes Self-starter with a drive to succeed Ability to work at a rapid pace while juggling multiple tasks and projects Exceptional communication skills – both written and oral Natural curiosity to test, analyze, report, and learn A thirst to learn about ecommerce, retail, marketing, and the operations that support the business A fantastic positive attitude to want to help & support your team members and the organizations goals

Qualifications:

Ability to manage and execute projects; meet tight deadlines on short notice, and multi-task Proficient at data entry (speed/accuracy), Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots), and independent research Ability to learn new material quickly and be able to implement that knowledge right away Analytically adept with good business acumen Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, marketing, or relevant field of study (preferred) Prior job experience (including internships) in Retail, eCommerce, or Supply Chain analysis (preferred) SQL experience or related Computer Science coursework is a plus
