Job Title: Ecomm Merch Assistant

Essential Function

This position is responsible for dealing with product data, product set up, and collaborating cross-functionally with other depts. The role will be accountable in delivering an outstanding product experience with a laser focus on product conversion.

 

Primary Duties  

80% Responsible for reviewing site by ensuring all SKU's are set up accurately with a “complete" status for online in cosmorprofbeauty.com/ca and portals, within slated time frames, including naming convention, product attributes, product categorization. Must be SEO & onsite search optimized.

10% Partner with Site Merchandiser on KPI reporting on business analysis to optimize site and app conversion.

10% Assist with proofing of monthly site and digital marketing content and functionality by providing appropriate category/product/url links. Partner with internal teams on customer experience issues. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Retailing, Merchandising, or Marketing

• 0-2 years related ecommerce experience with a multi-channel retailer.

• Experience in Demandware preferred

• Strong Ability with Microsoft Applications

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

 

Physical Demands  

The work is sedentary.  Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
