The RoleComplex NTWRK is looking for an eCommerce Fraud Specialist who is passionate andcommitted to mitigating financial losses from fraud activity and attacks. Our ideal candidate willscalaby reduce risk exposure for our Platform(s) in addition to enabling greater confidence inaccepted orders and payments. You will be responsible for developing and implementingstrategies that preserve a healthy financial and payments ecosystem, while creating positiveexperiences for our sellers and users. In summary, you will be responsible for ensuring ourmarketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also our sellers and creators.

The nature of yourwork will evolve rapidly to combat new and more sophisticated behaviors that are intended tochallenge our Platform(s) payments integrity.Who You AreUnderstanding of new fraud motives and sensible diagnosis of key control points Analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions3+ years of experience with fraud prevention, data analysis, investigations, and risk management for eCommerce platforms and payments 3+ years reviewing orders and transactions, identifying fraud trends and creating fraud rulesDeep experience working within Shopify and StripeAbility to think analytically and distill complex issues Excellent attention to detail with consistent accuracyMust be highly organized and have the ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) when presenting to stakeholders at various management levelsMust be able to work within a team environment and be a team playerMust be able to maintain high standards of professionalism and courtesy when contacting vendors, sellers and customerFundamental understanding of statistics or Machine Learning based algorithms is a plusWhat You'll DoAnalyze Seller accounts and Customer transactions to identify patterns, areas of weakness and predict risky behavior that could result in losses.Scale risk processes to cover an increasing landscape of payments risksWork with internal partners and users to develop solutions that mitigate fraud risk across different Seller categories, eCommerce platforms, payment processors, payment methods, and products categoriesRun, analyze and present against monthly reports outlining effectiveness and attention areas of your effortsAnalyze data to identify potential process changes or enhancement requests; work with internal partners to justify, prioritize and implement with a focus on consistency across brands and platformsAnalyze rule performance; recommend modifications or enhancements to reduce customer friction or increase fraud prevention.Participate in sourcing, justifying and implementing new or additional tools and 3rd party partners to improve the effectiveness of the fraud program and improve the customer experience.What We OfferBest in class health, dental, and vision insuranceHealthcare FSA Dependent Care FSA Commuter Benefits FSA Short-term/long-term disability and life insurancePaid Parental leave401k with 4% matchPet InsuranceLegal and Identity Theft PlansVacation time and sick days$150,000 - $170,000 a yearThe Pay Range for this position is listed.
