General Function:
The eCommerce Fulfillment Maintenance Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining production machinery in a timely and efficient manner also assisting in maintaining the building and grounds.

Accountable and Reports to: Director, eCommerce Fulfillment. Has daily contact with operations managers and production employees

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Machine setup, establish ongoing, and monitor preventive maintenance programs at the Hy-Vee eCommerce Fulfillment Center.
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment.
Perform a variety of building maintenance including carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Analyzes significant equipment failures to determine root cause of failures.
Identify areas to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Assists with other maintenance department personnel as needed.
Ensure compliance to plant policies and Federal and State regulations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF standards.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Weekends when needed.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma and two years of experience preferred. Trade school training or equivalent experience required. Courses in electrical maintenance or apprenticeships required. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
Physical Requirements:
Must perform very heavy work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: physical work including walking, stooping, bending, lifting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, fingering, grasping, climbing, reaching, balancing, pushing, and pulling.

Must provide own standard and metric hand tools used for electrical maintenance and repair. Involves frequent use of diagnostic equipment and phone. Computer knowledge is helpful to work with RTA software for work orders, parts, and labor.
