Essential Function
Sally Beauty, a division of SBH, is looking for a qualified intern to join our eCommerce Team. The Intern will be responsible for assigned eCommerce projects during the 10-week program.
This intern will support the eCommerce Marketplace team by managing marketplace updates, researching trends, and assisting with creative and operational projects. They will help optimize digital storefronts and contribute to eCommerce initiatives while providing support on various team tasks and reporting needs.
This intern should be prepared to work cross functionally, have exceptional organization and communication skills, and be able to work effectively and with detail in a fast-paced environment.
At the completion of this opportunity, the eCommerce Intern will have gained broad experience in various aspects of eCommerce and online Marketplaces.

Primary Duties
Research, compile, and update backend keywords for the Walmart Marketplace using marketplace research tools to improve search results and drive sales. Update Amazon storefronts to align with Sally’s brand refresh. Conduct competitor analysis to identify effective storefront strategies, evaluate analytics to inform decisions, and incorporate creative assets to refresh Sally’s brand image on Amazon to improve brand awareness and drive conversions. Develop custom collections for delivery marketplaces (DoorDash, Instacart) to align with micro-marketing moments making Sally more relevant to new consumers. Analyze performance, report on insights, and provide recommendations for improvement. Assist team members with special projects and ad-hoc requests.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Pursuing a College degree – Business, Digital Retail, other related fields.
• Entry level – No previous experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders; lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling or strenuous physical exertion.
