Essential Function      

The Analyst, eCommerce Marketplaces will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and driving performance across various marketplace platforms. This role will work closely with the Manager, Marketplace, and cross-functional teams to align on business strategies, uncover growth opportunities, and optimize day-to-day operations to support business goals. The analyst will leverage data insights to inform decision-making, suggest marketplace strategies, and identify trends that support revenue growth and channel optimization.

 Primary Duties               

The analyst will analyze performance metrics such as sales trends, traffic, and conversion rates across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, DoorDash, and Instacart, etc. to identify actionable insights. They will create and update reports to track KPIs, including in-stock rates, seller health, cancellations, and revenue growth. Additionally, they will conduct competitor and market trend analysis to uncover opportunities for SBH on marketplace.  In conjunction with the Manager, Marketplace, this role will develop and execute strategies to improve product visibility and performance across marketplaces. This includes staying informed on platform-specific updates and analyzing competitor trends.  Oversee daily marketplace operations, ensuring product listings are accurate, compliant, and optimized for each channel. Responsibilities include monitoring seller health metrics, maintaining compliance, and supporting promotional activities. The analyst will independently troubleshoot listing errors and resolve data discrepancies, leveraging available resources and tools to address issues efficiently. They will also ensure content aligns with marketplace requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities  

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau. 2+ years of relevant experience in ecommerce, data analytics, merchandising, or buying/planning. Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Walmart Seller Center, DoorDash, and Instacart, with hands-on experience in optimizing listings and analyzing performance. Familiarity with solutions like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, or similar platforms for tracking and enhancing ecommerce performance. Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities, with experience using data to inform strategy and measure results.

•              Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and   present data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements             

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.

The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders; lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling or strenuous physical exertion.
