As the eCommerce Merchandising Assistant, you will be focused on executing tasks related to the discoverability of a product across the customer journey, working cross-functionally with various departments across the organization while supporting the eCommerce Merchandising team. This individual will support the enhancement of the customer journey across categories from navigation through cart and checkout, optimizing products in categories and internal search to drive demand and achieve financial goals.
The ideal candidate should be extremely strong in data manipulation in excel, detail-oriented, flexible, maintain a positive “can do” attitude and solution oriented.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and executing on-site opportunities & optimization efforts along with the eCommerce Merchandise Managers to achieve sales & improve site KPIs.Work with multiple cross functional teams to ensure execution of seasonal product launches from start to finish (i.e., Production, Merchandising, Studio, Digital Marketing, eCommerce Operations, Inventory management, greater eCommerce team).Collaborate with eCommerce Merchandise Managers to ensure the product merchandising is optimized for all opportunities across the site and consistency for customer expectations, market trends, and overall business strategies.Assist in the development of short and long-term vision for product categories online, in conjunction with eCommerce Merchandise managers and retail buyers.Responsible for managing weekly eCommerce product catalog and ensuring proper sku site visibility, categorization, and attribution.Assist in site QA as related to merchandising responsibilitiesAssist in optimizing strategies for internal search and assist in managing rules to help improve site KPIs.Assist in performing and maintaining competitive website analysis to keep abreast of trends and eCommerce technology.Work with eCommerce Merchandise Managers to recommend enhancements to site merchandising features and capabilities to support future site roadmap initiatives.Job Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent2+ years’ experience in an eCommerce environment preferredMerchandising knowledge in retail store and/or eCommerce environmentTrack record as a fast learner, ability to make timely decisions and a solution-oriented problem solver.Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented, results driven individual who can “make it happen”Exceptional time management and organizational skills and the ability to work well independently.Excellent communication skills, comfortable communicating across functions and reporting structures.Strong PC skills including Excel (familiar with formulas and comfortable with data manipulation, pivot tables and V-Lookups), PowerPoint, and Outlook with the ability and desire to learn new applications as needed.Experience with Salesforce platform a plusExperience with Asana a plusWhy We Love It
