eCommerce Product Manager

Job Summary

The eCommerce Product Manager is a highly driven individual who is comfortable with all stages of planning, executing and measuring product enhancements that drive growth for our eCommerce channel. He/she will own and develop the product roadmap and ensure that Windsor’s online presence is optimized and exceeds customer expectations. This individual will manage and lead cross-functional teams including freelancers and is seasoned in coordinating a collaborative project process. He/she has the ability to multitask effectively and problem-solve independently with little oversight. Must be an excellent communicator and have a solid understanding of business needs and the ability to translate those into technical requirements. The candidate must have a strong entrepreneurial attitude, high energy and the flexibility to adjust to a large number of competing priorities and tight deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills will enable this role to be successful and generate impactful results for the organization.

The eCommerce Product Manager requires a deep understanding of all functions of an eCommerce business and should have a proven track record of immediate impact on the day-to-day performance and long-term growth trajectory of the business with this function.

Key Responsibilities:

Define Product Strategy and Roadmap along with A/B testing and management of the UX/UI design process with creative teams and freelancers. Drive cross functional digital and omnichannel projects from ideation to deployment and ability to align all stakeholders on functional scope and timelines. Responsible for ongoing audit and improvement of existing tech stack to maximize business outcomes and ROI of third party solutions. Work closely with all other eCommerce and Marketing teams to identify opportunities for additional technology improvements based on analytics and data insights. Partner with IT to create roadmap alignment, process design and all supporting documents and specifications for an efficient rollout of all projects. Ongoing creation and management of core documentation required in this function, such as RFP documentations, ROI analysis, functional specifications, use cases, usability scenarios, testing plans etc. Partner with VP of Ecommerce to develop and execute roadmap initiatives that deliver on key strategic goals. Work closely and support Project Managers to ensure that projects are proceeding according to schedule and meeting functional and design specifications. Build relationships and act as liaison between merchandising, creative, copy, IT, QA and management groups to reach consensus on specifications for new website features and omnichannel functionality. Measure and track project performance and provide insights, analysis, and actionable recommendations to improve post-launch results. Analyze key digital competitors to identify best in class examples for strategic proposals, strategic guidelines and recommendation to support key business objectives, product launches and set goals. Ability to present in front of executive team members to share roadmap plans or progress updates.

Skills & Competencies

5+ years of proven success at driving business results in an ecommerce environment in a Product Management role. Experience in a fast paced retail and ideally omnichannel organization is a plus. Extensive understanding of retail / eCommerce landscape, including best practice features and functionality as well as technology and toolsets available in the market. Deep experience with A/B testing methodologies from ideation to design and analysis Ability to develop business functional specifications, requirement documents and scoping documents and run projects all the way through user acceptance testing Understanding of web technology fundamentals, including mobile app Prior experience with Shopify Plus preferred Strong excel and analytical skills is a must! Needs to have the ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and KPIs. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interface effectively with stakeholders. Ability to influence and impact change in an environment with competing objectives. Excellent project and time management skills handling various projects at once; ability to effectively multi-task in a tight deadline-oriented environment. Self starter with a strong drive, sense of ownership, sense of urgency and focus on delivering results Adaptable to change and receptive to feedback and suggestions. Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodology a plus BA/BS degree in business, marketing, economics, finance or equivalent hands-on experience considered.

Physical/Environmental Demands and Overtime & Availability:

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Adequate movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Team members are required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
