eCommerce Product Manager

Job Description

Orgill is seeking an experienced eCommerce Product Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and executing feature roadmaps for multiple new and existing eCommerce offerings. The eCommerce Product Manager will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, and will work with both business leaders and software developers to determine and translate high level business requirements into successful product offerings. The eCommerce Product Manager will also be responsible for communication of the product vision and the evolution of the roadmap to stakeholders and customers. This position will be instrumental to the overall success of our product offerings. 

Key Responsibilities Product Development & Leadership:
Collaborate closely with Leadership, Customers, and Development teams to define and prioritize the product roadmap in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, meet client expectations, drive value, and provide clear, actionable insights.  Prototyping:
Work with the PMO, Development, and Creative teams to build and test prototype solutions using low-code/no-code or rapid application development tools, gathering feedback to inform product decisions. Product Documentation:
Create, manage and maintain clear documentation for product features, including use cases, wireframes, workflows, business processes and functional specifications. Platform Management & Development:
Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to help guide the end-to-end development and release of new features and enhancements, meeting the needs of the organization, customers and stakeholders. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.  Work with the technical development, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure seamless product delivery and support while ensuring cohesion and alignment with organizational priorities Communication and Engagement:
Serve as the key point of contact (subject matter expert) for your products with technical teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, and keep stakeholders informed throughout each project lifecycle. Primary Duties Work closely with the business to gather requirements and translate these into a structured product roadmap that is in line with business expectations and budget requirements.  Build and maintain end to end product roadmaps for Orgill’s eCommerce platform offerings while using market research and competitive analysis to promote new ideas for products and product evolution. Manage multiple vendor development partners simultaneously, while keeping them accountable to delivery and manage their interactions and communication.  Successfully evolve roadmaps based on business requests, industry trends, market research, and customer feedback to develop the most successful products possible. Transform high level business requirements into objectives, features and detailed requirements that can be consumed by stakeholders, project managers, and development teams. Work carefully with a team of project managers, developers, and QA to execute the product roadmap according to plan. Work with our Creative team and other cross-functional teams to generate UI/UX wireframes, mockups and workflows aligned to the products being managed. Clearly communicate the vision, product roadmap, and success stories to stakeholders & customers. Assist in the creation of business and technical processes that support the company's goals for efficiency optimization and scale. Assist front-line teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed Work closely with the PMO and associated vendors on the development and management project schedules, budgets, resources, documentation, change requests, risks, and issues to ensure maximum business benefit is maintained. On occasion, present at both internal and external events, sharing the vision, plans, and opportunities our technology is enabling us to realize to a wider audience.

 

Core Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal formats. Must be able to tailor information properly to the audience. Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management working with product engineering teams to deliver software solutions that delight users and customers Experience managing a multiple vendor ecosystem including SOW generation, negotiation, and partnership development. Experience with eCommerce systems and eCommerce system development Knowledge of general eCommerce challenges such as PCI compliance, sales tax, accessibility, privacy law, logistics and typical data processes between PIMs and eCommerce systems. Client-facing experience with a strong focus on understanding customer and user needs and translating them into product features Proven experience in defining and tracking data metrics to drive product decisions and improve business outcomes Proven experience in building and maintaining large scale product roadmaps. Experience working closely with software development teams in an Agile/Scrum development process, supporting a team through discovery, implementation, testing, and release. Experience in working with cross-functional teams Experience writing functional specifications Experience conducting user research Experience with SaaS based software and licensing models and both B2B and B2C business models. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and to identify trends and opportunities Highly effective at goal setting and driving cross-functional teams towards successful execution of the goals. Familiarity with updated software development methods and frameworks. Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and patterns. Resourceful, with strong attention to detail

Helpful Skills and Experience

Experience with the eCommerce ecosystem and software industry players  Experience with UI/UX wireframing & mockup tools like Figma Experience with Jira or other project management tools Experience with data analysis and design. Experience working in a growth-stage technology company Experience in building B2B & B2C software Familiarity with technical development tools is a plus but not required
