WHY BOX NEEDS YOU?
We are looking for a talented, experienced and motivated Sales strategist to join the Digital Marketing eCommerce team at Box. The Principal, eCommerce Sales Strategy role will own the strategy to drive in-quarter ARR for eCommerce, partnering with Sales to activate and test the designed plays, and be the "bridge" with Sales teams as relates to eCommerce. With a focus on Product-Led Growth, this role will be a key contributor to the overall eCommerce & growth strategy at Box.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Puts the customer buying experience first in every aspect of their work
- Owns a portion of the Online Sales revenue target as relates to Sales contribution; can report forecast to target attainment and manage Sales plays for greatest ROI
- Has proven eCommerce and Sales experience for a similar SaaS product and understands how Sales can drive customer growth
- Becomes the “bridge” with the Sales team, authoring and driving a Sales-driven plan to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
- Builds and drives a long-term plan to grow customer upsell ARR potential within Online Sales and beyond Online Sales focusing on seat expansion, plan upsells and more
- Collaborates continuously with BA, Data Science and Sales to identify and activate a cadence of Sales-driven plays/tests/pilots
- Build the Ideal Customer Profile for the Online Sales buyer using data
- Has a strong attention to detail
- Is a strong communicator and represents the eCommerce strategy with Sales while also representing the voice of Sales to the eCommerce cross-functional team
- Keen analytical ability to use salesforce opportunity and revenue data to gather customer insights
Uses salesforce
- Measures their own success against monthly/quarterly/annual target achievement and understands how to use the entire sales tool kit to engage, retain and upsell a customer
WHO YOU ARE:
- 6+ years experience in a Sales, PLG or eCommerce role with a Technology or SaaS company
- International experience a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
- Proven experience managing and executing against a revenue-based plan
- Ability to work within a test-and-iterate environment
