The Royal Caribbean Group’s Targeted Offers team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time eCommerce Strategist - Promotions & Personalization reporting to the Product Manager, Behavioral Communications & Targeted Offer.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary

The eCommerce Strategist - Promotions & Personalization will spearhead the Targeted Offers team at Royal Caribbean, focusing on creating and executing personalized 1:1 offers at relevant points in the customer lifecycle to increase conversion and engagement. This role is responsible for key aspects of targeted offer delivery, including strategy, execution and optimization. The eCommerce Strategist will work closely with stakeholders such as Revenue Management, Marketing and Business Intelligence teams to ensure the successful delivery of targeted offers. The role involves reviewing performance metrics for each campaign, maintaining the product backlog, and leading the team to drive continuous improvements in the Targeted Offers initiative. 
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the Targeted Offers team to design, execute, and optimize personalized offers aimed at increasing booking conversion rate, web share and/or engagement.  Collaborate with Revenue Management, Business Intelligence, and other key stakeholders to align offers with business goals and customer needs.  Review and analyze offer performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.  Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer value enhancement.  Develop and implement test strategies to validate offer effectiveness and refine approaches based on results.  Ensure timely delivery of offers and effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding progress and results.  Act as the product expert, maintaining a deep understanding of the end-to-end business processes and offer execution.  Oversee the prioritization of defect resolutions and optimization opportunities in the backlog in partnership with execution teams.   Maintain and update documentation related to offer execution, performance, and strategy. 

 

Knowledge and Skills

Thorough understanding of multilayered, matrixed organizations and establishing clear workflows.  Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills - Ability to negotiate and find mutually beneficial results with multiple internal and external stakeholders  Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in the digital space  Project management skills - superior organizational skills and ability to monitor, manage, and execute on a variety of tasks and efforts at differing stages of discovery and execution, handle a large request queue, and deliver in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment  Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, high-growth entrepreneurial environment  Strong understanding of systems, internal controls and the ability to develop processes and procedures to support the company’s operation 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technology-related area of study preferred  2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager  Experience with agile software development processes, requirements management, and project management using JIRA/Confluence or similar Agile collaboration tools  Experience in working with CRM teams to execute a complex, highly segmented, and personalized email communication strategy   Travel Industry eCommerce experience preferred
