Your role and responsibilitieseCommerce (ABB Shop) for ABB Motion aims to deliver superior customer experience, by providing a one-stop shop for ABB’s customers and enabling high-quality interactions throughout the buying journey.The business priorities for eCommerce are centered around increasing adoption, driving productivity, and realizing additional growth.As a eCommerce User Experience Lead (UX Lead), you drive the adoption, utilization, and revenue growth of the new ABB Shop eCommerce platform. You act as the bridge between the designing team and the development team with the objective of shaping and improving the interactions and alignment between them ensuring that the products developed provide a positive user experience. You oversee the design and implementation of user interface and ensures that the platform is appealing and user friendly and meets the customer needs.You will help set goals related to ensuring that customers are satisfied and constantly evaluate business practices to see if they have met those goals. You also collaborate with the team to define and prioritize product features, champion user needs and usability, and validate designs and functionality through user research and testing to ensure consistency and quality across the platform.This position will act as a thought leader, coordinator and change agent to support the improvement and adoption of the ABB Shop worldwide and will report to the Global eCommerce Product Owner.The ideal candidate will work from a European location.Your responsibilities, will be as follows: Responsible for the delivery of digital products with a focus on UX design Create user journey map representing understanding of customer needs and pain points, and use those insights to define product features, prioritize the product backlog, and to ensure that they are delivered on time and to high quality standards Collaborate with all stakeholders including UX/UI designers, developers, product owners, and clients to ensure that the UX is aligned with the overall objectives of the project and UX requirements are met throughout the development processWork closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that the product aligns with both business goals and customer needsCombine data-driven insights with empathy for users and work together with the team to create innovative UX solutions. Apply design thinking methodologies to conceptualize solutions and get valuable feedback from users before the build stageManage project UX design related backlogsIdentify, track, and mitigate project risks to ensure delivery is on time and within budget.Communicate roadmap and project updates to senior management and other teams within the organizationOthers: Be the voice of the user within the team, continuously advocating for human-centric design decisionsSolve complex delivery problems to account for user goals, accessibility, business requirements, and development needs.Continuously enhance delivery practices and workflows.Analyses and evaluates current user interfaces and proposes usability improvements (i.e. expert reviews).Conducts competitive analysis research to better understand prevalent interaction designs/solutions.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor/Master or equivalent in Digital Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience or related field Documented work experience in a design portfolio showcasing examples from shippable products (b2b environment, Web, WPF, iOS, Android) Minimum of 7 years of experience showcasing B2B experience, with successfully shipped products to market with strong focus on UX/UI and overall CX. Experienced in agile development methodologies and relevant tools (SAFe certification is a plus) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize user needs and see it from customer perspective Deep knowledge of UX design principles and HCD methodologies such as user research, user journey, user persona, UI designs aligned with design system, Hi-fi click prototype, etc. Advanced digital CX E2E understanding (eCommerce focus is a plus) Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe CC Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, developers, senior management, and other stakeholders Able to handle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities. Tools and skills: Preferred with experience in Magento / Adobe commerce, Adobe Experience Cloud Products as well Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding of HTML, CSS, and other front-end development languages and frameworks to communicate effectively with developers. Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Trello, Asana Demonstrated success in driving customer experience up measured in customer overall satisfaction, increased sales, retention rate, repeats. Strong understanding of Analytical tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Adobe Analytics) Fluent in English language, other languages are a plus Ideally, candidate would reside in European Union or someone who is able to work remotely during European time.
