***We are moving our headquarters to Eagan in 2025! This role is based at our current HQ in Bloomington but will move to Eagan in 2025.***
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Join our ECSI team as a Low Voltage Business Development/Sales Rep, where you'll implement our sales strategy and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to drive revenue growth. You'll identify customer pain points, offer tailored solutions, and maintain an updated sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress smoothly through the sales cycle. With a focus on prospecting, relationship-building, and industry engagement, you'll play a vital role in expanding our market presence and achieving sales objectives.
+ Develop sales pipeline consisting of opportunities for limited energy solutions, maintenance agreements and monitoring contracts through prospecting and developing relationships with assigned accounts.
+ Identify key influencers, budgets, and purchasing criteria across all accounts to tailor sales strategies effectively.
+ Collaborate with our Corporate Marketing Specialists to prepare sales information and proposals for customers.
+ Maintain updated pipeline by entering all opportunities in CRM and advancing those opportunities through the sales cycle as necessary.
+ Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings to align strategies and objectives with team members.
+ Develop relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors and electrical contractors to keep them up to date with new products and solutions offered.
+ Attend tradeshows and industry meetings for prospecting and staying up to date on product innovations, capabilities, and market/industry trends.
+ Develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships with product vendors.
+ Prepare a yearly business plan that includes sales goals, current pipeline status, target accounts and identification of potential obstacles.
$71,250-$95,000 + discretionary bonus + employee ownership + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
+ Experience in limited energy sales or related field is a plus.
+ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, sales tactics, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods and the coordination of manpower and resources.
+ Ability to develop sales goals that relate specifically to obtaining assigned goals.
+ Ability to understand the scope of the contract documents and the scope of the associated work to be performed.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Excellent customer services skills.
+ Self-motivated and results driven.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal software programs.
