EMT  As the Emergency Room EMT, you will perform direct patient care within the scope of the EMT-Advanced Practice Act.  What you will do in this role:  + You will utilize therapeutic communication in daily practice.  + You will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.  + You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient.  + You will participate in performance improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement.  + You will provide care and coordinate participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission statement.   What qualifications you will need:   + High School Diploma/GED Required  + Graduate of an accredited School of EMT-Advanced training.  + Current licensure with the Tennessee Department of Health Emergency Medical Division for the State of Tennessee  + American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS  TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years.
