Your work will directly impact scientific computing challenges within the semiconductor industry.QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess the following education and experience:Education & BackgroundPhD (or MS + 5+ years of research/industry experience) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.), with expertise in:Scientific computing: Numerical algorithms (FEM/FD/FVM), linear/PDE solvers, convex optimization, computational geometry.High-performance computing: Distributed processing, OpenMPI, GPU acceleration, CUDA ecosystems.Programming skills: Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python.AI/ML applications: Leveraging AI/ML to accelerate problem solving processes.Semiconductor knowledge (preferred but not required): Process technologies (photolithography, etch, deposition, CMP) and basic semiconductor device physics.Key Skills & AttributesStrong problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling complex computational challenges.Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately and deliver on schedule.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Open and collaborative team mindset.Why us? Transform the EverydayThe salary range for this position is $177,000 to $318,600 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
