We’re seeking someone to join our team as an EDD Operations Training Program Director in Wealth Management Operations to provide support as part of the centralized Training program within the EDD Operations organization. This position will play a key role in defining, developing and enhancing training for EDD Operations colleagues.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within the Client Service Relationship Management, which is responsible for managing internal and external client relationships. We do this by engaging in client service activities, optimizing the client experience, and managing vendor/external business partner relationships.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Create and/or edit training materials such as new hire onboarding, refresher trainings, systems training, etc. in partnership with key stakeholders and ensuring proper approvals are obtained
• Track and monitor data related to training completion, and escalation processes for training not completed within timelines
• Identify training gaps and conduct needs assessmentto determine the specific training needs of different EDD Operations groups
• Track training requests that come in from EDD Operations team in order to action to completion
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify/agree on training scope, process, dependencies, milestones, and major deliverables
• Administer training to staff, both on a scheduled basis and as needed (e.g., procedural updates)
• Develop and administer training metrics and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
• Assist in developing role-based training plans
• Assist in roll out of training and communications following a procedure, process, system, or regulatory update
• Responsible for proactively managing the training repository, and ensuring timely execution of updates
• Identify and escalate training related issues to leadership
• Contribute to relevant discussions and decisions, and assist in action item tracking, project plans, milestones, and meeting documentation
• Leverage globally available learning content and solutions to support organizational and business specific learning needs
• Investigate, identify issues, impacts and trends to improve processes, procedures and training
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders as appropriate
• Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes
• Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognise risks and draw out key issues

Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask projects in a fast-paced changing environment both independently collaboratively
Distill complex ideas and concepts into actionable items
Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion
At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Experience of providing new joiner training or buddying a plus

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
